About Us

Welcome to Erben House!

Erben, pronounced “air-ben,” comes from the German word Erbe, which means legacy, heritage, inheritance, or heirs.

Our lives have layers–like stories of a house–and these layers shape the stories we tell. The everyday stories that are central to our lives are on the main floor. There are stories from rooftop moments, those of the highest level and most joyful. There are also stories of sadness, darkness, and deep introspection that come from lower levels. Within each story, there is room for learning.

The stories and ideas of our lives combine with the lessons we’ve learned. These combinations can be shared as an inheritance of knowledge and as wisdom to others.

To that end, we pour our footings at Erben House with the beliefs

  • that each person is created and placed on this earth at a particular time for a specific purpose.

  • that each person has received a unique combination of skills and abilities to serve others and to honor the One who gave those gifts.

  • that God’s Word, the Bible, is true and should be heard throughout the world and across generations.

Erben House creates tangible works for learning that lead to intangible moments of connection and insight. We are

Blueprinted with the goal of authentic growth and abundance.

Framed on a strong foundation of faith, family, and love.

    Painted with humility and self-reflection.

Furnished with resources, tools, and gatherings.

    Decorated with ideas and stories.

We are heirs of the past. We serve heirs of the future.
